Thanksgiving is Quickly Approaching

We have 3 weeks to get ready for Thanksgiving. That week is a busy one at The Old Home Place. Many will get together with family for an enjoyable day with lots of good food. While some of the dinner is made by the favorite cook in the family, some of it comes from The Old Home Place.

Lots of pies head out the front door that week. Pumpkin, apple, pecan, and cherry are some of the top sellers. Mince meat pies are also made and should be ordered ahead if you want one. Cranberry salad/relish is also a big hit. It’s made right here with fresh ingredients. Chicken and noodles move fast, too.

And if you want a fresh, naturally raised turkey, The Old Home Place has them. They are raised and processed by Bowman & Landes farms in Dayton. If you want one it must be ordered by Friday, November 15. The cost is $3.49 per lb., same as last year.

See you soon!
